First, I love this book. It is a wonderful collection of perhaps the most honest written and spoken word that I have come across in years. Ashe Vernon uses words as pointers and symbols to draw me in; and I am filled with the wonder of being alive and at the very same time destroyed by the raw essence of these words that describe being human.She touches with words, that vulnerable journey, that if correctly observed and experienced, gives us the best chance at being 'us'. I left reading Belly of the Beast, wanting and hoping to be human.
This book is a warm and wholesome guide, that has already reserved it's own spot on the shelf of books I turn to often.

Incredible set of poetry.
This book is amazing. Each story takes you on a journey as you weave in and out of the words and phrases. Ashe puts into to words what some have difficulty expressing. It is thought provoking and inspiring. I would recommend this to anyone, and as proof to show that if you are passionate about something, you can make it happen.
